Egg Binding - Success!

Our Amber White, Daffodil, was sick last week; we didn't know what was wrong. I logged on to BYC, searched "sick", quickly found her symptoms under Egg Binding. My husband and I followed the steps: Lubrication, Tums, and Warm Bath. We were losing hope at 13 minutes in the warm bath - when..... the egg popped out! We were the most proud parents - we did it! Thank you BYC!

That's fabulous! I had an egg bound hen that never could pass her egg and had to be put down; I'm glad to hear someone was able to help their hen!
