Egg bound Button Quail, may be prolapsing. In distress now.

Do you have any calcium? Can you fill your bathroom with steam, give her calcium, place her on a heating pad in the warm steamy bathroom? Ideally, you want her in a room that 85 degrees and very high humidity. The calcium will help her muscles expel the egg. She should also have fluids given to her orally, but with such a small one that is very difficult unless you have the proper equipment (tube).

I dont have calcium. had them on mannapro egg food.

Palpable egg with lethargy. Vent ripped with tissue disruption and blood. just tried massage of abdomen. Then warm water and massage. Nothings working. She can still be saved, but wont tolerate much more. Emergency. rural area. no vet accessable.
She and the others have been laying daily. no problem until now.

It's an emergency. She can still make it, but my window of opportunity is closing fast.
When I massage towards the vent, cant see the egg shell because there is tissue over it. Can the egg be stuck in the ovaduct? The tissue looks like intestine, but I really cannot say that for sure.
She's so tiny, but can you feel the egg if you feel inside the vent or just feeling it on the outside?
