Thank you. Poor girl. But it is notable that she has relief now. All she wants to do is to sleep and will set her up with warmth in hospital cage. Should she live, she can never return to the flock. Believe her reproductive organs have suffered much and with the vent problem, she cannot be with the males in the cage with the others.oh your poor little quail!
I can empathise having had big babies myself, lol.
Can you squirt a load of antibiotic ointment into and over the vent so at least that is helping her heal for now?
Got ya. Will do.Keep either antibacterial ointment or vaseline on the ruptured area...if it dries out, it will be impossible to fix.
