Egg Bound duck?

I think I might have an egg bound duck. No egg this morning. (Not a huge deal, it happens). I get home from work and I can tell something is up. Only one duck out to greet me and a different kind of quack from her. It's amazing how well we get to know them eh? Anyways I find Peggys in the water dish and she puffs up when she sees me but doesn't come out of the enclosure. When she does move it's very slowly. She will take a few steps and stops and her tail is pumping slowly up and down. She' been like this now for 2 hours at the very least. How long do I wait?

I think she passed this as I posted. Inside the membrane was some goop and then a fully formed single yolk egg with a fairly large blood streak. (Blood streaks are normal for her at least a couple a week). I guess I'll just watch and see if she perks up now.

Does she get oyster shell?

Yes, always has oyster shell always available. She is back to herself this morning. Just a glitch I hope. No egg again this morning but hopefully her system is just resetting. . Just have to keep a close eye out.

Give her a warm bath if it happens again and put olive oil on her vent xx
