EGG BOUND EMERGENCY

Please someone help me! I think my chicken is egg bound she looks like it! I gave her a soapy bath and put her in a dark place so she can lay her egg! It didn't work! I'm the shavings some spots are yellow/green she's maybe 3-4 years old she's a leghorn I don't want to loose her someone please help I'm desperate. Is it possible she isn't egg bound?

I've heard egg bound hens may need calcium and to give them tums. Maybe wrap some broken up pieces in hotdogs chunks or meat or something she will readily eat. Good luck!!

how do I give her tums? And the tablet ones?

What do I do to get the egg out of her

Can you feel the egg? If so you could massage the egg very gentle and see if it helps. I've done it before and work the egg out. Just don't put her under any stress.

Xs 2 glove up use a lubricant and try and feel for an egg about 1 inch in.
