In the Brooder
hey guys. One of my Isa Browns is either eggbound or has some sort of perintonitis...she has that hump on her back, tail down and lethargic. I checked her vent and there was a bit of what looked and felt like water, not slimy like an egg white, and she hasn't passed any shell or anything. Another thing- the hump comes and goes. She was okay this morning, tail was back up, and she was scratching around with the other girls. I found an egg, not in the box that had like a white film on it...not wet..almost like there was a new egg shell forming over the brown one. I have a picture of the egg and I'll take a pic of Luna in the morning and post it. I'm going to Vaseline her vent tomorrow morning as well.
