You could be feeling some grains or grit. What is a water buffer? The crop is filled with fluid?Ok, I will pick some up now!
When I feel her crop, it is grainy, I believe I am feeling the food that she hasn’t digested yet. There is some water buffer as well. I can’t tell if she’s drinking, I put water in there but it’s not evident whether she’s drinking or the heat lamp is evaporating it. She still has very watery poop though so presumably she is drinking. I’m just afraid to give her more food.
Today when she pooped it was not chunky and just yellow, which I think might mean she’s finally digesting food from 3 days ago. So maybe she can have more?
I'd offer a small amount of wet mushy feed (just soak a small amount of feed in room temp water for about 1/2hr or so).
Does she need a heat lamp, is it cold?
What is her overall behavior? Is she still lethargic, acting like she's not feeling well or do you think she can go outside during the day for periods of time to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine?
Often when one is separated/isolated, they don't eat/drink very well. If they are near other chickens or with their friends they seem to fare much better and will eat/drink some too.
