So this chicken I have, one of the two oldest (6 years) i have has a swollen abdomen. Not swolen enough to soread the feathers, but noticable to the touch. She is rather lethargic and has ststted limping. I found a weird bloody mass in the coop im not sure if it was hers. It seems similar to a lash egg? I have her in an epsom salt bath but I cant really feel a hard lass like an egg inside her? And advice would be appreciated

Do you have photos of the weird bloody mass?

Give 1 Calcium Citrate tablet into her now, then once daily for several days.
Work on hydration.

Is she pooping?

It's been a good week or so since the initial post, then you just posted a photo of what you saw, no mention as to whether she's improved or not.

What you have pictured looks like an intact Follicle in a soft shelled membrane. A 6 yr old hen can start to have some reproductive issues, but this may be a one time thing or it could be an indication that her system is slowing down and she's beginning to decline.

Sometimes all you can do is offer supportive care - this includes keeping her hydrated/eating, seeing that crop is emptying, keeping her free of external and internal parasites and relatively comfortable.
