Egg Bound - Ovaduct wash?

The egg liquid smell reminds me of urine, rather than that sweet smell. Olive leaf extract smells similarly sweet to me. I did give her a few drops of that in one of several water.cups when she was still drinking, and she seemed to prefer it.

This picture is of the "yolk", after I chipped off two pieces (arrows) and moved it to a bin. The black stuff is ashes. The lighter left side of the big piece was on top before I chipped the pieces off.

I wanted to let you know that I finally received professional help at the lab, which, ironically, is not far away. They kindly worked late this Friday night to help me, for which I am grateful. This wasn't egg binding. A necropsy found that almost half of her weight was actually liquid in her body cavity as a reaction to ovarian cancer.

Thank you for teaching me how to fight hypothermia and dehydration more effectively. Those skills are incredibly useful.

In case it may help someone else figure out what this is, these are further symptoms:
* Her abdomen did swell (ascites)
* Her feathers were falling out under her vent, possibly due to the ascites, leaving a bald area.
* The above picture is of a yolk. There were more stuck inside, but they weren't egg bound. Her system just stopped working with yolks inside. Some of the yellow stuff I thought was undigested egg was probably egg yolk from her own ovary.
* When I saw the above picture, I thought it looked cancerous, but didn't really believe it, except that it looked serious. It turns out that 2 years old is about when the risk of this begins. I don't know if the yolk was actually cancerous or just dehydrated. The picture really brought out the texture. Before that, it just looked dehydrated.
* The sweet smell I thought might be yeast was actually scent from the petroleum jelly. I didn't realize it was scented. :S

I should also mention that the lab may help to diagnose a problem, but they aren't set up to treat it.
