No but I’m not sure what else it would be if she was only laying egg whites without a shell or yolkCan you feel an egg? Are you certain it’s egg-bound?
I don’t think she would stay. She tried to fly away when we were soaking her the first time.set her in a hot bath tub and just leave her there. Until she gets really overheated you should just leaver her in a warm soak for awhile.
How long do I leave her in there for?Update: we put here in the garage in a container with a towel on top!![]()
I’m not sure that I can see a vet at all! Me and my sister are just trying to help her pass her egg and she did poop out more egg white stuff when she was placed in the nest box. But she jumped out because she is very stubborn. Can you do that with a glove on?It sounds like she may have had an egg break inside or be experiencing reproductive issues that are serious. She may have another egg coming that is blocking her. Can you see a vet today? I would check inside her vent to try and feel for an egg, either shell-less, hard shell, or more egg material. Antibiotics may be needed to prevent infection. The calcium in the Tums may help. Is she very weak or seem to be suffering? Baths can put them over the edge if they are very weak. But you can place her on a warm moist towel in a warm area, to try and relax her to lay. Here is an article that may be good:
