Egg bound posts from the past

I read many of your past concerns about your hens not pooping, labored breathing, and the vent moving as if she wanted to lay an egg. It happened to my little Soda Pop polish hen last night. I was beyond distressed. I decided to look up what to do when I read many of your posts. I can't and give a big enough hug and thanks to all of you for your advise. It was too late to put her in a warm bath, so I decided to use a heating pad I use for baby chick's. I placed it under her bedding, and it worked like a charm. This morning she's eating, looks normal, and is outside with her goosie pals.

I just wrote a message, but I don't think it went through.
Like many of you with hens, my little Polish hen Soda Pop was beyond stressed last night. She had labored breathing, wouldn't eat, no poop, and her vent acted like she was ready to lay. I read many of your previous posts, and the solutions helped. I wanted to give her the hot bath, but it was too late. Instead, I brought her inside and placed a heating pad I use for baby chick's beneath her. Wow. It worked like a charm. She's eating, breathing not labored, and vent normal. She's back outside with her gossie friends and having fun. A big hug to all of you for your help
