Egg bound

I think I have an egg bound chicken. She is hanging off by herself, not wanting to eat, and walking funny.

What do i do to help her? I don't have a heated place and it is getting very cold tonight. I don't want her to die.

You can bring her inside to a bathroom, and run some warm water in a shower to make the room warm and moist. Make her a bed in there to stay warm. Egg binding can be a sign of needing to drink more water, or from a calcium deficiency, so it might be good to offer water, and give her a calcium tablet or Tums ground into some egg and yogurt. You can insert a finger an inch or two into the vent to check for a stuck egg.

Read it. Checked for an eggs found nothing for over 2 inches. So at least she can poop. Will update in the morning.
