Egg bound?

Today she’s eating better. If she releases liquid from her crop, it doesn’t Have a bad smell or anything. I’m concerned her belly does seem bloated. In fact her crop is harder to feel than most other chickens.
But she has liquid coming from her beak right? Maybe a blockage in the gizzard then or if she's bloated, inflammation of whatever reproductive problem she's got going on. I've found that most of the time if I encounter a crop issue, the hen also has something else going on.

I drained liquid from her belly. So I suppose it’s Ascites with lots of other problems.
Im still trEating for sour crop and massaging her crop frequently. I’ll see how she feels in the morning. Hopefully more comfortable for a few more days. Otherwise I won’t let her be in pain needlessly.

Does she seem more comfortable after the draining?

Yes she was walking around a bit more. Nothing came out of her crop this morning and She was finally pooping again. It felt like she was 5 lbs lighter.
Was her crop empty this morning?

Glad she was moving around a little better. Some people have to drain again in a few days.

Another thing to investigate since she's got fluid is to give her a detox. It may or may not help but worth a try(?) https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...-breath-if-you-hold-her.1284253/post-20750855

I think it was empty. It felt slightly squishy, I think there was nothing in it. And I saw her poop several times which I figured was great news. I finally smelled the stinky breath. I’m continuing with The Monistat
Ill keep An eye out to re-drain her.

Being squishy in the morning with stinky breath, I agree, I would give the Monistat 2 times a day for 7 full days.

Pooping is always good! LOL Hopefully she's on her way to feeling better, keep us posted.
