Guys I saw one of my hens pooping a yolk. I thought she was egg-bound and I put her in water. She released this. Will she be okay? What else should I do?

Looks like a shell membrane.
Was yolk leaking from her vent?

If the yolk and albumen (white) were leaking from her vent, then I would give her Amoxicillin to help with infection that the leaking egg material may cause.

How is she acting? She may have more she needs to expel. I would also give her 1 Caltrate a day for 5 days.

Yes, the yolk leaked from her vent. After the warm bath, I put her in the nest box to "inspire" her and she is still in there. Maybe she does have more stuff to expel. I'm concerned that she'll be unable to do so.

I have tetracycline, the powder that you'd pour into the waterer, would that work? I have 500 mg amoxicillin pills and she weighs... damn probably 1 kg at most. She is really small.

Can you bring her inside and isolate her for a day or two? To make sure all of the egg passes, and she starts laying normally.

I use amoxicillin (fish mox) 250mg for mine and a calcium capsule. I open the amoxicillin capsule and a calcium capsule, add the powders to a little bit of their crumble food, mix with a little water to make mash. I only do a small amount of food, so she will eat it all in one sitting.
I used to have egg bound issues (along with soft and shell-less eggs) before I started adding Omega Egg Maker to their food and baking and feeding their egg shells back to them. I put the crushed egg shell on top of their oyster shell. They love it and eat it right up.

You can use the Tetraclyine or Amoxicillin.

Amoxicillin dose is 57mg per pound of weight given orally twice a day for 10-14 days.

Weigh her. If she's about 1 kg, then the dose for Amoxicillin would be 114, but for math and ease of dividing up that 500mg I would go with 125mg (2x a day) as her dose.
Crush up the pill into a fine powder or empty your capsule - whatever you have. Mix it with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Mix well. Divide that teaspoon of coconut oil into 4 parts. You can then roll up each part into a small ball. You now have 4 balls that are your "pills". Place them in the fridge to keep them firm, then when it's time to dose her just pop a coconut pill into her beak and your good to go.

Guys, thanks for the help, I'm treating her with antibiotics and I'm giving her eggshells (not hers!) and a feed with extra calcium. She acts like a normal, healthy chicken, but... she just dropped another yolk.

What should I do???

I would get some Calcium Tablets and give her 1 a day for 5 days to see if that helps with the shell quality.
Egg shells are great to give back to the hens, but they not a quickly absorbed into the system as the tablets.

Hard to know exactly what's causing her issues. Sometimes a hen may have damage to the shell gland or something else going on and there's not a lot that can be done.

Is this a dietary supplement for humans, or...?

What is the appropriate dose of calcium for a chicken?

Thanks for the help. I gave her calcium. The main symptom (the yolk leaking from her vent) disappeared after day 2 but now... not only she is not laying, she is also feeling lethargic. She is not eating, only drinking, and she's inactive and isolated.

I gave her a warm bath in case she was egg bound and after a while she pooped only water. I can't really feel any egg when I touch her abdomen, though.

It's been really hot here so I don't know if she is egg bound or dehydrated (although she does have access to water all day). What should I do??
