egg bound

How can one tell if a chicken is egg bound and it they are how does one correct the problem??

This problem can kill your hen. You need to feel around and see if you can feel the egg and try to puch it out if you can. If not some cooking oil and a finger will remove the egg. Some people say you can break the egg and it will pass, but I have never done that.
