Egg broken and membrane broken aswell. Chick alive and chirped

Chicken stepped on the egg and it. Broke. All others had hatched the day before. I saw there was some blood and the membrane was completely ruptured. The chick showed some movement and chirped. Will it survive?

But something I would try is to brush the cracks with liquid skin bandage.

The egg was completely cracked. The chicks is visible. For now im keeping it in the incubator. I did-not understand what you meant by brushing it

you can use liquid bandage, or melted candle wax to cover the crack so bacteria don't seep in.

Moving it to the incubator was a good move.

I called a vet. He said take him out of the egg. I took him out and placed it with the chicken

Cant post as actually im not home my wife is home with the chicks. She called to tell me that the chicks had hatched and one egg was broken
