What do you use to candle your eggs? Im looking for a new device that is homemade. Anyone have any good ones they would like to share. I always used a flashlight in a pitch black room but that doesnt work too well. Any ideas?

We stand a 6v flashlight on end. put a small box just bigger than the flashlight over the lantern so that there is a couple of inches between the box and lantern. Cut a small egg shaped hole in top of box. then we put a piece of foam with a small egg shaped hole in it on top of the box. Set egg on top of foam. Works on even Marans......

we cut all lights out in the room and use one of those LED lights from lowes or TSC

Simple as that
