Egg carton method?

How many people do this? I am wanting to try to do this and have no idea how to do it. How do you turn the eggs? Do you just tilt the everyday? Also do chicks have a harder time getting out or do they hatch just like they would if they were laying on their side? If you guys could tell me how to do it and if you have any tips you would like to share that would be great.

I use cardboard egg cartons, cut the bottom out of each one and just turn the carton around 3 times a day. The chicks get out real good.
