Egg cartons in bator

when using egg cartons in bators for the ease of turning eggs. Do u use them as mormal or do you turn them over and use the bottom? Can u use foam one or cardboard ones?

I use them like normal and have used both kinds. Never had any problems and it helps keep the
bator cleaner too!

I have used both kinds. The cardboard ones act as a wick though, if they get wet.
