I'm just curious what egg cartons you use for storing and selling your eggs, as well as where you purchased them.

I have been to eggcartons.com, but I'm not satisfied with their selection or pricing. I found some interesting "artistic" cartons on Alibaba that are made and shipped from China, but I'd love to hear if anyone has any experience with those.

I could get my whole year's carton supply in one shipment, and the cartons let the eggs stay visible, which is a big plus. And they're pennies on the dollar.

I use recycled. Family, friends save them for me and I also scan Craigslist for people giving them away for free or very cheap. You can also offer people a dozen free eggs if they bring you several clean egg cartons, say 20 or so. I would hate to buy them when there are so many around just being thrown away.

I agree. And I do that when I am giving eggs away or selling small quantities. And I also do a refund/deduction If they return the carton.

But I am at a scale now where I have to buy (1,000-1,500 cartons to start). And I would like to put the farm logo on the cartons, too. When I was smaller, I could buy 50-cent recycled ones from the feed store and put a sticker on them. But at this quantity, that $500-$750 is needed elsewhere. Especially if I can get them for a tenth of that cost.

But working with an overseas company and shipping the cartons here is a wee bit daunting.

Agree, very daunting. I have no experience with selling that quantity of eggs but hopefully some other folks can give you some information. Good luck!

Way different than most folks here. Might want to change your thread title to "Large Quantities of Egg Cartons".....and edit first post with the quantities your looking at.

Have you tried some searching here?
