I hatch my chicken egg's in egg carton's. Should I do that for my quail? I have 25 going into my first lockdown today and I'm not sure if I should just lay them on there side when I take the turner out or put them in egg carton's with the little end down? Any advice would be great!

Up is up. It shouldn't mater4 if you leave them in a turner or put them in trays. I have hatched them on there sides also but it is easier in the cartons.

You will get much better hatch numbers if they remain upright. How you do it is totally up to you. You can set them in egg cartons, or leave them in the turner(tho it is unplugged and off with them positioned upright) or take the egg rails out of the turner and set them on the floor of your hatcher and use them as a upright holder for your eggs--- any 1 of the 3 will do fine!
