if I am just collecting two days worth of eggs (today and tomorrow) and then someone is putting them in the incubator tomorrow night, can I just leave the eggs in the nesting boxes and collect them all tomorrow? Or will that ruin them?

Its in the 80's during the day and 60's at night. I just dont know where to put them... my fridge is set to about 40 degrees, so thats too cold....

Help me! lol.

Put them in cartons and just set them some place cool in the house. I collect and keep mine in the laundry room.

I bet the basement stairwell would work. Its probably in the 60's/70's in there and fairly humid. lol. We live by the river to heat and humidity is just unreal in the summer. blech!

if you don't want to collect them then just leave them, many people in my country (exclude me) believes that eggs that been taken from the nest will lower the rate of hatching chicken (cause they don't even know incubator) so they just leave them, even my grandma (about 1 year ago) leave the eggs until 12 eggs and i see 11 are hatched, wew, making me think that my grandma's hen is really2 great hen. no problem occurs if they don't get under rain and sunlight.
