Egg color and size change

So come to find out she was egg bound. After she died I put her in a bucket until my MIL got home from her boyfriends (she's there every weekend from Thursday to Monday so I take care of her animals) well when she went to the bucket to do something with the hen there was an egg in the bucket I didn't have any gloves to check manually and I did all the firsts steps. I feel terrible
