egg color and size

    sheesh-- I love the one about brown eggs from brown chickens and white eggs from white chickens. It would be like white milk from white cows and chocolate milk from brown cows... LOL

    And what about the pullet eggs? I thought hens lay eggs.

    Any one read the comments under the article? I did and I still have a problem with their thinking that the color of the ear/ lobes tells what color the eggs are going to be since I have a white hen with white ears/ lobes and she lays some the most awesome tasting BROWN eggs in the world IMO.

    What about my silkie! she is a black hen with turqouise ear lobes! hmmmm black eggs with turqouise spots????? lol what a stupid article!

    Actually for a lot of breeds, the earlobe does tell the egg color. ;o)

    red lobes + brown eggs, and white lobes + white eggs...except for some breeds and I thihk Silkies and EEs. (sounds like you have an exception) REALLY pretty white hen too.
