okay so i read that mallards lay greenish blue eggs and my mallard lays green blue eggs.
i also read runners lay white
magpies do green
black sweed lay white
welsh harliquin lay white
cayuga is dark and slowly lay slate blue

so what colors do you guys get with your ducks? i really dont think that these colors are all correct besides the cayuga, welsh and mallard

My Campbells lay off-white eggs, my Jumbo Pekin lays white eggs, and my old Runners (who have all since been rehomed to make room for my Dutch Hookbill obsession) laid off-white OR blue-green tinged eggs, depending on the bird.

Buff =Green eggs
Cayuga = buff creamy tan eggs with swirly designs
magpie = white MAYBE slightly blue tinted , but mostly white eggs
My black swed died before she could start laying

I have had a buff, a runner, and a khaki...and they all laid off-white eggs. The only way I could tell who laid what was by the shape of the egg. The runner egg was longer.
