Egg color change?

I have 2 Ameruacanas who I thought were both laying blue eggs when I got them. They stopped laying for a few months and now that they’ve started again, I’m getting a blue and a light olive colored egg. What gives? Normal?

Not sure. I did have a very similar problem 2 weeks ago. An EE, the one in my pfp, lays a blue-green, yet she layed a brown egg 2 week so ago.

I have a BCM who laid a purple egg, but mostly dark brown here are 2 of her eggs, the purple is just bloom though.

I never really understood blooms. Are they when the egg doesn't get the proper pigment?

Oh no, it was clearly brown, it's in the incubator, so far, so good!

I thought blue wasn't just bloom but actual shell color. I don't have any blue layers, so I could be COMPLETELY mistaken.
