So I just picked up some chicks from a breeder friend of mine. 4 Ameraucanas and 3 that were a mix of an Ameraucana roo and a EE (Ameraucana mix). What are my chances for green, blue or olive eggs with the mixes (EEs) since they are genetically 3/4 Ameraucana? She knew that they were mixes immediately and knew somebody (one of her EE/ Ameraucana mixes or one of her Ameraucana roos) had jumped the fence.
I took all 7 because breeding is not a goal of mine (and they were all a gift
~ but a bowl full of all different colored eggs is. I already have BO and Production Reds, so my brown egg bases are covered.
