egg color question

    I have an EE roo that came from a perdt blue egg. If covers a green egg laying ee will I get auqua eggs?

    Yes. You may also get some green and blue in there too, but majority will likely be aqua in color.

    It depends. Is he homozygous for the blue egg gene? If so, they should.

    But if he is heterozygous, and the hens are heterozygous, then 25% of the chicks will lay brown eggs while 50% will be heterozygous for blue eggs, and 25% will be homozygous for blue eggs.
