I have a cockoo maran that usually lays these darker eggs, but today she layer the other on that kinda looks tie dyed.
 
The color of the egg is determined by the breed of the bird. And each bird has it's own color, or "Bloom", that is added at the last moment before laying. If a hen has been laying too frequently, she will have less dye, or bloom, to lay onto the shell. Nothing to worry about here. :)
