I have a Buff Orpington that at 11 weeks started laying eggs. She was viciously raped by a rooster (who we no longer have) and shortly after that she started laying. Her eggs are still small (it's been 9 weeks) and they have small pieces of what looks like tissue in them. Can they be eaten and will she be alright?

It's impossible for a hen to lay at 11 weeks, but the tissue are called meat spots, just pick them out and the eggs can be eaten just fine. :] Your rooster had nothing to do with the meat spots, at least at this point, or the eggs since hens don't need a rooster to lay or induce laying.
