egg cracked and yolk broken-is there any hope?

I was checking on my eggs this morning and found one cracked and yolk was seeping out. It is on day 18 and last night I heard it tapping. Is there any hope for this chick at all?

I guess stranger things have happened.... if it's on lockdown there's not much you can do for it but wait and see.

I wouldn't throw it out if it only had three days to go. It's a long shot, but what the heck; you've had it for 18 days already. It's worth seeing what happens. Keep us posted.

well I checked on it this morning and it was gone
