I changed 2 2/3 cup of milk to 2 cups of milk and 2/3 cup coconut milk, then left out the cinnamon and added 1/2 cup shredded coconut. Going for a coconut cream custard

I got lucky about a year ago when a local restaurant went out of business and scored a bunch of Ramekins,, I use them all the time. I'm going to use them on this custard for dinner!
 
OK, you inspired me. Mine have been in the oven about 20 min. I'll let you know the family verdict after we eat them. They smell great!! I did not alter the recipe other than I used fresh vanilla beans.

Update!!!!! They were wonderful!!! No pictures, they ate them to fast.

Ha Ha, you sound like me, with the online shopping, I just love it. Though this dish could easily be made into any 1 1/2 qt baking dish.
 
I just want you to know the coconut version came out perfectly!!!! My daughter has informed me she does not like coconut though, it was sticking to her teeth! LOL
