Egg development question

I have 17 eggs in my incubator and they are at day 24. My question is has anyone ever had their eggs develop at different speeds. I candled my eggs yesterday and noticed that a few were almost completely black with very little liquid at the point. While others had a larger amount of liquid. All of them were moving inside the egg just seemed some had a lot more liquid in them than others. Is this normal?

Sounds like air cells are different sizes...

They are but not much different the big difference is in the fluid end.

Hmmm?. So all your air cells on the fat end are a good size?..Then I wouldn't worry too much..

I hypothesize that it's due a comination of the temperature differences in the incubator, the age of the egg (fresher vs older), and genetics.

Hmmm?. So all your air cells on the fat end are a good size?..Then I wouldn't worry too much..
