I have 2 chicken breeds that are capable of laying eggs right now. My sapphire splash has been laying for 12 days now. Now I have another egg layer. She is not laying it in the nesting box. For the past 3 days we have found an egg in there chicken coop, two of them dead center and one at the very edge. The only other chicken mature enough to lay the egg I believe is one of my Buff orphington hens. I have had them 22 weeks. I have other hens barred rocks and a Rhode Island Red but I have only had them 16 weeks. Then my Pekin ducks who I have had for 20 weeks. So these are the eggs I have collected over the last 3 days. I am really puzzled about the ones on the left. Can anyone advise please. I know for a fact the smaller ones are from my sapphire splash because I have collected some from underneath her.

Guessing those are duck eggs and I think they like to lay on the floor.
Thank you so much. I was thinking they am have been but was thinking it was a little soon for them I guess there is always an exception to the rule
