Ok so i have a hen sitting on one egg due to hatch tomorrow. It has already begun pipping. Its 100 degrees in my coop so the hen has abandoned the nest all day to be under the misters. I can't leave this egg in the current nest once it hatches because the boxes are off the ground and wide open to my other chickens. Ive tried moving her to my playpen inside the coop but she will not sit on that nest at all. So my questions are.... will the egg hatch in thr hot coop without her or should i bring it inside? Also how can i get her to move into the playpen with the baby because the current location is not safe. Should I just raise it inside???
