Ive had a couple blow up just from picking them up,its as bad or worst than a skunk.

Never smelt a skunk her is Australia, but the compost still reeks and the fly larvae, although buried under other green waste, are still stanky!

get all the goo you can off the chick. make sure legs are moveable, what's left will turn hard when it dries. hope you got enough goo off. tough one for sure!
