Ok i know y'all are getting tired of the same(almost)question over and over again. It keeps twisting and evolving..so here it is. Can a broody pullet be an egg eater? The pullet who will be a hen in September has gone broody and discovered an eaten/broken egg today(6pm central) not positive if it was eaten or broken. The shell was broken beyond able to determine why but very thin. It was 100 degrees here today.

Yes.
However, eating an egg that was broken due to a thin shell isn't a problem
What seems more important is dealing with why thin shelled eggs are being laid.
Are they getting enough Calcium?
