the mustard/hot sauce thing NEVER worked for me.... ever
check thier diet.. give them plenty of OTHER things to peck at.. put wooden eggs in the nests... ect
i cut the tip (just the tip) off the top part of the beak,, it might bleed,, if it does i use KWIK STOP.. to stop the bleeding..
KWIK STOP is FOR nail cutting, beak triming etc....
if you dont cauterize it (with heat)..the beak WILL grow back.. so it NOT like "de-beaking"
this is the ONLY thing that has worked for ME.....
if it doesnt stop you need to cull the one that is doing it because she will teach others how to do it..
i think it is better to cut the tip of the beak off instead of their HEAD.. JMO
