If your hen is going out of her way to break open the eggs it's very difficult to teach them to stop. Have you tried to roll away nest boxes?

If you do place the bird (and I would or have her for a fine dinner ) tell buyer she may eat eggs. It's the right thing to do

The egg eater I had got rehomed to my granddaughter as a single lady. They allow her to eat her eggs.
