Egg eating

My chickens have been eating their eggs

. We tried Hot Pick and red pepper flakes but those didn't work. Does anyone know something that would work, and do wooden eggs work

? I'm really confused and frustrated that they're eating their eggs.

The sooner you put an end to it, the better. I use golf balls with success. I've put in about 3 per nest. I've also sat out at the coop to see the culprit make her move. She has not for over 2 years now.
