Long story short, I had a broody hen sitting on eggs when she started dying from Mareks. So, Now I have 12 eggs that were all growing wonderfully that now I don't know if I'm going to lose :(. I have a LG incubator, that I fired up, but I've never used it, the eggs have been cold for a few hours now, and the incubator still isn't at the right temp! What should I do??? Is there any way to save these eggs??? Any help with incubator or eggs is needed! thanks!

Keep them in the incubator as you get it up to temp. If you have a hot water bottle you could fill that and get that in there beside them while the incubator comes up to temp. Do you have any idea about how many days of incubation they have had? Is the lg a still air?

Oh, they haven't been incubating long then. Ok, still air you need the temps between 101-102 taken near the top of the egg. I suggest 30-40% humidity, and checking the air cells to confirm proper growth. If you're interested in knowing how to monitor humidity I use this method: http://letsraisechickens.weebly.com...anuals-understanding-and-controlling-humidity An accurate thermometer(s) and hygrometer will be the eggs best friend and help to have a successful hatch. I wish you good luck!!!

Well thats an issue.... I have two thermometers, one is a manual (old fashioned) and the other electric, and they have a 10 degree difference! I'm more prone to believe the old one, because I used it in my fish tank before, and it was completely correct. The humidity is where it needs to be, I just don't know about the temp :/
