The love of my life passed away last week. We buried her. Next to all these tall bushes she used to love. But I've got the last egg she ever laid. Just a little perfect egg as usual. I'm wanting to make into a Faberge style egg. Not so much carving but putting a crown on it and a base. I wanted to make it so you can see her very first lost feather from when she was a chick. Any ideas? Are there people who do egg carving? I would do it myself I would be scared of losing the egg as a whole. I have another one of her feathers I'll be using to make a necklace. Her death has devestated me. She was from my original crew. The only hen!! She was here from day one and now she can't jump in my lap for cuddles. She can't run at top speed to see me when I go outside. No more car rides to my sisters house. Rest in peace Bonnie. Best hen in the worlw.
