egg fertility

This may be a rookie question, but I have seen breeders, who sell eggs, state that they have done a fertility test on their eggs and they can say that they are 100% fertile. How is this done and can the accuracy of this statement be backed up in some way?

well, I think there are 2 ways....
crack open a bunch and look for the bullseye or
set a lot in the bator and see what grows...

Yep those are the two methods I'm aware of. Basically they're saying either all had bullseyes or all developed.
