Egg Fertilization

Hello all. I was curious how long the eggs are fertilized once a drake mates with a hen? I know in humans sperm can stay alive in the reproductive tract for about 3 days but did not know how it works with ducks.

I know with chickens the hen will most likely lay fertile eggs for two weeks after, so I am assuming it is similar with ducks.

Not certain about ducks, but chicken hens can maintain high fertility for two weeks, moderate fertility for three weeks, and some fertility for up to four weeks.
