Egg found in run

I adopted 2 adult laying hens and wanted to free range them with my current hens and put them in a separate coop at night until they had been together a few weeks. Long story short my husband put them in with our current hens. One was not laying for the first 2 days probably due to stress but now she is laying in the run. She roosts at night with the others but won’t lay in the nesting box. How can I fix this?

Put her eggs in the box or put fake eggs in the box, to teach her where to lay ive seen people lock their chickens in certain areas where they want them to lay
