Egg has been piped for 12 hrs now-no progress.

Last night around 11 I had one egg pip. I was checking every couple hrs so not sure exactly when, but it was 11 when I seen it. There has been no progress since. I can hear it chirping every now and then and pecking lightly. But nothing is changing. Also It’s day 22 and none of the other eggs have done anything. Is this normal, when do I need to get worried?

Am just few hours ago stated day 21 and have two pip. How many egss you have? At which temperature your incubator is?

I don't worry about pips not progressing until it has been 24 hours. Some take that long and you don't want to rush the process.

Day 22 and no pips is a bit unusual. Are you sure you are counting correctly. You start counting Day 1, after the eggs have been set for 24 hours. What day and time did you set your eggs? Hatches after 22 days are usually the result of too low an incubation temperature or power interruptions.

I have had eggs hatch on day 23 sometimes when I had them under a hen. I wouldn't worry too much. If no other ones pip or hatch in the next 24 hours I would candle them with a candler to check if they are still alive.

I might be a day or two off. Kinda hoping I am. It was April 30 at around 7pm when I put them in I counted may 1st as the first day. But there was a few days at the beginning that the temp fluctuated. After that I was able to keep the temp at 100. The egg has made some progress now. Still nothing on the others

I candled them on day 17, seen life in at least 4. Most are brown, they’ve been harder to see inside. The egg has progressed some now. None of the others have though

I put them in incubator after dinner time on 02.05. I count day like this if I put them in incubator at 8pm then till next day 8 pm is day 1, and so on

I have 30 eggs and I just cancel few of them because I was scared to drop it and it takes me a decade to see something in them so actually I don't know what to expect my temperature whole time was on the low side from 97 to 99 F. What's your temperature now in incubator?

It’s staying at 100. The humidity keeps dropping, so that’s kind of scaring me. But the temp is staying the same
