Hi! I am hoping to hatch out some duck eggs soon. I have a broody thats due to hatch out in the next few days, but I wanted to possibly take a few eggs out of her nest and hatch them myself. I was thinking of trying to hatch about 3-5 eggs. I don't have an incubator set up right now, and I was wondering if it was possible to hatch them in some other way. I had thought of trying using some damp towels and a heat lamp or light in a box, sort of as a makeshift incubator. If that was a possibility, how would I maintain the temp./humidity?
Thanks so much for the help and suggestions!

It is very unlikely that you would be able to maintain the temperature and humidity at satisfactory levels. If you want to hand raise the ducklings, you could always remove them as soon as they hatch.
