egg hatching trouble

my little chick is hatching from the skinny side, the side opposite of the air sac. it pecked a little hole about 20 hours ago n i helped it a little bit but when i get a little further, i rip the veins and blood comes out. it seems like it doesnt have much room in there cuz the chick did not break into the airsac..what should i do?

my advice is to let it be. maybe it will be strong enough to get out on it's own.

Hopefully someone w/ more experience helping out eggs will come along with some more advice.

You will occasionally get a chick that pips at the wrong end. You should just leave them alone. They can still hatch out.

thanks for the advice. apparently i did something wrong, maybe the way i set the eggs. all my eggs piped out the wrong end but they all ended up hatching...
