Hi
My hen lays egg whose shell is little broken but the thin layer inside the shell is not broken. Can v hectch such eggs?

You don't want to try and hatch thin-shelled eggs, if that's what she's laying.

Thin shelled eggs can't do gas exchange correctly, (they lose lots of water, for one thing) and later in the incubation period, the chick absorbs some of the shell in order to develop his bones. If there's not enough shell, that egg's going to get very brittle and even worse at maintaining internal water reserves.

Why are they broken? Can you post a picture?
