Hello, Betty ( my RIR ) started laying a little over a month ago, her eggs have not been consistent in color, size, and overall wellness. Betty is approximately 8 months old. She has been laying shell less eggs (multiple at a time) or they are weird shapes and sizes, the shell is either none existent or harder to crack than should be. The color of the shells range from white, pink, brown and speckled. I do have two other hens that are isa browns, who lay consistent eggs in their own space so I know for a fact I'm not getting their eggs mixed up. I'll post a few picks, the egg that is cracked is a pink shell egg she laid, I opened it because it was so frail. The other picture of the three eggs, hers is the one one the left. I'm confused because of the different variety of eggs she has given me. Any answers will be great! Oh also I did add more oyster shell to her diet, she is also a free ranger with constant feed available. She does also eat fruits and veggies.

if the hen in questions is a mix that might explain the bigger difference in shading of the egg, but even my hens lay different shade especially free ranged just not usually that big of difference. If you've added Calcium she may have other reproductive issues going on or have internal or external issues with bugs/parasites tagging some others see if they have any ideas on what could be going on.

There could be a reproductive issue. However since she's only been laying eggs for one month, give her time to let her reproductive system get used to laying. I'm sure it'll all work out for her and you.
Ensure she's fed good quality layer feed and stop the fruits and veggies.

These other birds are confined?

How did you add the OS? What kind of feed does she have?
